Kevin Tate has joined Portland-based ShopIgniter, a Madrona-backed social commerce startup, as chief marketing officer. Tate — who noted that social networks are ”fundamentally changing how products are discovered, bought and shared” — is the former vice president of business development for the Dachis Group and co-founder of StepChange.
